You can take some incredible pictures! In this class students will learn how to capture memorable, striking scenes and moments around them with depth and confidence!

Beginning with a manuscript, learn to sketch characters and settings, brainstorm how to overcome challenges, interpret feedback from other artists, and create an illustrated work that sees an original story transformed. All skill levels are welcome. Materials Needed: A graphite drawing pencil set, sketch pad and kneaded eraser.

Experiment with colored pencils and chalk pastels while exploring the basic elements of design, composition and color theory. Discover your own style and begin to rely on your own approach to rendering powerful figures, rich landscapes and robust ideas. All skill levels are welcome. Materials Needed: A set of colored pencils and chalk pastels, a sketchbook or sketch pad and a kneaded eraser.

Find your creative energy and build your confidence as you learn to paint with this water-based medium. This introductory course in acrylic painting will teach you how to use brushes, mix colors and use a variety of different mediums. All levels of experience are welcome. This class will include individualized and group instruction based on what you are interested in learning. Materials Needed: Canvas/Paper, Brushes and Acrylic paint colors of choice.

You’ve seen the human figure. Get sent on the path toward becoming more adept at drawing people and the way you see them with comfort and ease, regardless of your artistic or creative level of expertise. Artistic principles such as line, shape, form and rhythm, and elements such as the human figure, scale, proportion and shading will be discussed. Materials Needed: A graphite drawing pencil set, a stick of charcoal, sketchbook or sketch pad and kneaded eraser.

Painting portraits and landscapes is so cool! In this class students will be introduced to acrylic painting methods and practices, as they paint multiple works of art.

What makes a great photograph? What is it about a picture’s subject or composition that makes it so arresting, mesmerizing or bold? Discover how you can capture stunning, stark and tender snapshots. Capture images of nature, wildlife, places and people right away. All skill levels are welcome. Materials Needed: A smart device with camera or a digital camera.

You’ve been wanting to draw something but you can’t! Not to worry, In this class students will be introduced to the elements of art, composition, techniques and the tools that they will need to draw everything they have ever dreamed of!
