Spud Recreational Gymnastics Session 2Summer Athletic CampsGymnastics can provide many cognitive and psychological benefits that will continue to benefit your child throughout their life. They learn social interaction, discipline, improved mental focus and concentration, flexibility and coordination. Gymnasts will improve overall fitness, strength, balance and body control at class. Your child may be at a beginner, intermediate, or advanced level of gymnastics to be eligible. The coaches will strive to provide a fun and challenging environment for your gymnasts as they practice appropriate skills on the vault, bars, beam and floor. Girls must wear a leotard and workout shorts. Beginners - First time gymnast, or intermediate skills Advanced - Student is able to preform a back walkover and a round off High School - Gymnasts committed to competing for the Moorhead Spuds High School Gymnastics team. FullEC Screening Tuesday, June 7Early Childhood ScreeningEarly Childhood Screening is a FREE, one-time, growth and developmental check required by the State of Minnesota for all preschool aged children (ages 3-6) entering school in Minnesota, including JumpStart Preschool or Kindergarten. It is best done when your child is around 3 years of age. All students entering a Minnesota public school for Preschool or Kindergarten MUST have it completed within 90 days of the start of attendance. Screening appointments are held at Probstfield Center for Education, 2410 14th St S, Moorhead. Screenings are offered about twelve times throughout the year. Screening is completed by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please note, if your child has a current IEP with Moorhead Preschool/Early Intervention Services, your child will not need this screening as this was completed during your child's evaluation. If you are unsure of the status of your child's IEP, please contact our office to verify prior to scheduling. Thank you!Spring/Summer 2022

Conquer Ninja Rec. Team (Ages 6-13)Courses for Youth and FamilyNinja Obstacle Training is extremely popular with kids and is a fun, unique way to develop confidence, strength, endurance, balance, and friendships! Sign up today to see how Ninja is easily one of the fastest growing sports today! Not only is it the fastest growing sport, but it is the fastest growing cross- training sport as well. Athletes benefit from training in agility, power, perseverance, and resilience; attributes that all athletes strive to improve. Our Conquer Rec Team is designed for youth, ages 6-13 of all experience levels. Our Rec Team will practice on real obstacles inspired by the TV show such as warped walls, salmon ladders, tilting ladders and so much more during their weekly practice. Rec Team members will learn the styles and techniques to develop their Ninja Skills with over 40 different obstacles! This 8 week long Rec Team consists of 6 practices and 2 competitions (week 4 and week 8). Competitions will be on July 14th and August 11th.Spring/Summer 2022
