  • Clay County Master Gardener's Garden Tour

    Join us as you embark on a learning garden tour in local Clay County MN gardens with stops in Moorhead, Dilworth & Glyndon. Stops include a local native prairie landscaped yard, a cut flower farm, large straw-bale garden, and more great local resident's gardens. Each site will have a host to share information on the garden as you get a closer look at all these great gardens in your local community and county. Tour is held rain or shine. Addresses will be emailed closer to the tour date and the tour will officially start at an unspecified location for packet pickup if paper copies are needed. Join us for a fun, exciting afternoon and evening of garden fun.
  • Resilient Yard Series: Pollinator Gardening Workshop

    Learn how to transform a section of your yard into a native garden that will attract pollinators. This workshop is designed for beginners and focuses on what constitutes a pollinator habitat, the importance of landscaping with native plants, and the process of installing a garden from start to finish. A select number of native plants will be discussed. Participants will leave with the beginning of their design plan and a pollinator-friendly kit to get started. The first day of class will meet at the Vista Center for Education, the second day of class will meet at Crestwood Pollinator Site 6017 7th St SW.
