PopularElementary Track Camp (3-6th Grade)After School CampsThe Moorhead Track Club is an opportunity for elementary students to learn the fundamentals of track and field. Grades 3-6 students will learn correct running mechanics, hurdling, softball throwing, high jump and the long jump. Our events will be coached by current and former high school coaches along with current Moorhead Spud track and field athletes. Our first four sessions will be practices, and our last session will be an actual track meet. Grades 3-6 participants will compete in the 70-meter hurdles, 100-meter dash, 400-meter dash, softball throw, long jump, high jump and 200-meter dash. All registered participants will receive a Moorhead Track Club t-shirt. Location Schedule - Practices will take place at Horizon Middle School Practices Days: Grades 3-6: SESSION C - May 1, 3, 8, 10 (7:15 - 8:45pm) SESSION D - May 2, 4, 9, 11 (7:15 - 8:45pm) Track Meet will take place at Moorhead High Track Meet: May 14th 3:00 - 6:00pm for 3-6 Grades Registration deadline is April 1, 2023.Spring/Summer 2023
