Boys Basketball Camp
A camp designed for all skill levels of basketball. Come have fun learning more about this game! Learn skills and have fun at Boys basketball camp. We will be following MDH, MDE, and CDC guidelines related to COVID-19. Sanitizing of shared equipment will take place between sessions. Masks are optional. Social Distancing will be encouraged and enforced. Drop off and pick up will take place in the North parking lot at Horizon West. Contact Moorhead Community Education at 218-284-3400 with any questions you may have. Materials Needed: A filled water bottle and their own basketball. -
Boys Soccer Summer League
Boys Soccer Summer League is for any boy interested in improving his soccer skills and knowledge prior to the fall high school season. Players will have a practice on Tuesdays and a game on Thursdays each week from June through July, barring the week of July 4th. Players should bring soccer cleats, long socks, shin guards, and water. A soccer ball will be provided. -
Girls Basketball Camp
Grab your shoes and join your friends for the girls basketball camp. See you on the court! Please bring a filled water bottle and a personal basketball if you have one. -
Speed and Strength Boys & Girls Soccer (Grades 6-12)
Focused on presenting skills that are developmentally appropriate for each individual's skill set. Introduction and advancement of resistance training as well as speed, agility and quickness techniques. -
Speed and Strength Football (Grades 11-12)
Focused on team Building and fine tuning advanced lifting and speed/agility/quickness techniques. -
Speed and Strength Football (Grades 9-10)
Introducing many new strength and speed training concepts that students will utilize throughout their high school careers. -
Speed and Strength Middle School Boys (Grades 6-8)
Focused on presenting skills that are developmentally appropriate for each individual's skill set. Introduction and advancement of resistance training as well as speed, agility and quickness techniques. -
Speed and Strength Middle School Girls (Grades 6-8)
Focused on presenting skills that are developmentally appropriate for each individual's skill set. Introduction and advancement of resistance training as well as speed, agility and quickness techniques. -
Speed and Strength Off-Season Sports Girls & Boys (Grades 9-12)
Focused on developing the explosive athlete. We will develop ground based speed, agility, quickness and explosive movements off the ground. Pre-habilitation of ankles, knees, and hips will be developed to help prevent injuries. -
Spud Baseball Camp
There will be a skills competition on the 22nd and 23rd. Please wear athletic gear, a cap and your glove. We will also have games and water balloons! -
Spud Recreational Gymnastics Session 1
Gymnastics can provide many cognitive and psychological benefits that will continue to benefit your child throughout their life. They learn social interaction, discipline, improved mental focus and concentration, flexibility and coordination. Gymnasts will improve overall fitness, strength, balance and body control at class. Your child may be at a beginner, or advanced level of gymnastics to be eligible. The coaches will strive to provide a fun and challenging environment for your gymnasts as they practice appropriate skills on the vault, bars, beam and floor. Girls must wear a leotard and workout shorts. Beginners - First time gymnast, or intermediate skills Advanced - Student is able to preform a back walkover and a round off High School - Gymnasts committed to competing for the Moorhead Spuds High School Gymnastics team. Focus on all four events working to improve skill level and strength. Sessions coached by Spud coaches. -

Spuds Weightlifting Camp
All athletes going into 7th grade and older are welcome. Graduating class of 2022 is also welcome to join Sessions will be held in the Moorhead High School weight room Athletes looking to improve their power and explosiveness for the sport of weightlifting and all other sports should attend this camp. The focus of the workouts will be improving mobility, olympic lifting movements, muscle growth, strength, power and speed. Summer Volleyball Camp
Improve your volleyball skills with our summer camp. This camp will work on the fundamentals of the game through frequent contact in a fun and challenging environment. This camp is available for athletes of all skill levels and abilities. -
Wrestling Camp
Students have the opportunity to learn wrestling technique from the Moorhead High School Wrestling coaching staff. They will provided the opportunity to improve their bottom, top, and neutral positioning with technique that helps athletes to focus on their technique as well as their overall athleticism. Materials Needed: T-shirt, shorts, Water bottle, wrestling socks or shoes and headgear (optional).
