Acrylic Painting for Beginners
Interested in learning how to paint with acrylics and don’t know where to start? Find your creative energy and build your confidence as you learn to mix colors and paint and create your very own painting. All levels of experience are welcome. Based on what you are interested in learning, individualized and group instruction are available. Supplies are included, so all you have to do is bring yourself for a fun and relaxing evening of painting. -

Join John David in making a clay crafted frame to secure your favorite photo. Materials needed: one 4x6” picture frame per participant and a favorite picture or portrait (4x6”) (per participant). Automotive - Wheels and Tires
After this class, students will be able to: identify various parts of a tire and their purposes, have a better understanding of what to look for when purchasing tires, inspect their tires for any flaws or damage, plug and patch a tire, identify the correct tire pressure for their vehicle, check and set the pressure in their tires, change their tire to a spare tire and back to the full-size tire using the equipment supplied with their vehicle. -

Basics of Guided Meditation
Find your happy place. In this guided imagery you will become aware of breath and body while allowing your mind to explore and imagine. This practice can both be relaxing and energizing. -
Beginner Crochet
Beginner crocheters will learn some of the basic crochet stitches like chain, single, half-double, double and treble crochet, while also learning to read written instructions. The pattern allows crocheters to mix and match stitches to create a unique project. If you've always wanted to learn how to knit but haven't been sure how to start, this class is for you. It's designed with the absolute beginner in mind. We'll cover casting on, knitting, purling, binding off and troubleshooting all while creating your very first dishcloth. Beginning Computer Skills
Learn the basic hardware and get an introduction to the Windows operating system including learning to navigate the file and applications systems. You will also learn some basic troubleshooting skills that will mostly keep you off the phone with technical support. -
Beginning T’ai Chi Chih® - Joy Through Movement! Part One
Join Barbara Edin, Physical Therapist, and other students for an introduction to the first 10 movements of T’ai Chi Chih. This is a “moving meditation” that was originated by Justin Stone. Find yourself becoming grounded, more aware of your body in space, and experiencing a new and gentle way to move. This movement form is easy to learn, can be done in a small space and does not require any special equipment. Comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended. -

No woodcarving experience is needed to learn how to carve simple wood projects. After four sessions, you will leave with information about carving and will have learned carving techniques that will enable you to enjoy a lifelong satisfying skill.
