    Ever wanted to make a book but felt overwhelmed with the notion of stitching and fiddling? In this class we will make a hard covered book in a delightful lie-flat structure suitable for making photo albums or sketch books or a travel journal - the sky is the limit! We will start the class decorating the cover and spine papers using paste and our fingers - finger painting for adults! Or using the selection of tools to create delightful patterns and designs. While that is drying we will make a test book using a cereal or macaroni and cheese or similar box. Dig something out your recycling. On the Saturday, we will make the final product. Supplies: A cardboard box like cereal box, scissors, glue stick, pencil, ruler, bone or teflon folder or butter knife. All the other supplies will be provided.
